"Tres bon resto pour dejeuner"

"Listen...this food is so good. The shrimp and grits are amazing! The grits were flavorful & without lumps. The flash-fried cornbread had a light crisp with a sweet, cake-like taste. Everyone in my party enjoyed their food!"

"This is my husband's and I favorite Brunch spot. We've been coming to Gary's for over 20 years. The owner and the team here are always kind and attentive. Our server Mario always came to check on us and topped off my coffee. I ordered grits with JUMBO shrimp, fried green tomato with Cajun sauce and crispy delicious cornbread. Come eat delicious food and support a small business that gives back to the community. We loved it here! Thank you."

"Decent service and food. Can get very crowded. I got over easy eggs and bacon and my husband got a loaded chicken cheeseteak. Food could use a little more seasoning but overall tasty. Recommended."

"My family and I were in Pleasantville and we wanted to have a good family breakfast with a dine-in diner experience. I went on TripAdvisor and Gary's Restaurant was in the top three for the best breakfast dining. We decided to try it out. TripAdvisor was not kidding. We walked in the diner and we can see that it was a packed place but the atmosphere was phenomenal. Many pictures and colorful paintings on the world really does give you that true American dining experience. The hostess spoke Spanish too which helped my family in terms of communication. Our waitress was very nice and very helpful with our selections. We selected the breakfast platters of two eggs, pork sausage, pork bacon, and home fries as well as French Toast. The food was excellent. The quality of the pork sausages links were thick and flavorful and had a nice crisp. Pork bacon not too crispy not too soft, it was good. The highlight was the home fries. The home fries came with onions and peppers and they were filled with flavor and the quality was like a nice grilled mash potatoes. My family and I loved the food so much that we ate everything. Thank you Gary restaurant and the staff for the best dining experience we've had in a long time. The home fries were the best! My family and I love it so much. We would definitely come back again to try the Wednesday lunch specials. To us Gary's restaurant is number one in Pleasantville for the true American Breakfast Diner Experience. Would recommend."

"Came to this place after I washed my clothes at the bubble laundromat a block down the road. I was looking forward to some cheese grits and a hearty brunch. I ordered the chipped beef on biscuit with eggs over medium and grits with cheese. The biscuits were amazing and the chipped beef gravy was perfect. I had the first biscuit with just the chipped beef to enjoy the flavor and put Chalola on the other one. I always judge the cook by how well he makes an over medium egg and let me tell you, it was perfect. It was Sunday so the place was pretty noisy but not to bad. Great mix of customers. Great wait staff that seems to really care. Bathroom was pretty clean for being most the way through Sunday brunch."
